THE BEST APP FOR IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH!

 In this post I bring you a web page in which the best applications to improve your English are classified, LINK, In this classification, I have noticed in one app whose calls BUSUU. In Busuu you can access practical listening, reading, writing and speaking exercises and contact with a huge community of native speakers with whom you can practice your English.

Unlike other apps to learn English, with Busuu you will be able to learn grammar, although in return you do not have the option of practicing pronunciation.

It is organized in four different levels, from A1 to B2, which is undoubtedly a great advantage.

Starting to use it is free, you just have to register in the app, but to unlock some of the content you will have to install the paid version.

For example, an activity to work on speaking, could be a conversation with a classmate about interestings, hobbies, sports or a story that happened to them, where, one of them asks questions related to the story.

NEW MATERIAL IN SOCIAL MEDIAS!

"English friends" is a youtube channel where you can improve your english, for example, training your pronunciation, learn new vocabulary, etc while you having fun with this couples of friends. 

I discovered this channel when I was doing a phonetics exercise, and in my case, is really useful to listen english people, talk about different things in order to improve your english language no need to go to an academic.

The activity which could make with this material is listening the pronunciation lessons and then repeat.

For example in this VIDEO, they explain the pronunciation of "schwa", our students can listening and repeat with vocabulary.

DUOLINGO APP!

 Here We are again with the second post! I would like to talk about applications which you can use in the internet or in your mobile phone. In this case, I found DUOLINGO where you can learn american english, french, german, japanese, chinese, etc.

At the beginning you choose the language you want to learn and after answering some questions and logging in your profile, you can choose to start from the beginning or if you already know something of this language that you want to study, test your level and start from that level. 

The really good thing about this application is that it is specially designed for our students, because there are many pictures that illustrate the vocabulary you are trying to learn. Also when you touch on the images, a voice tells you in that language, how to say that word.

In the app you have to choose between 3 possible answers and if you answer correctly, you will get points and unlock rewards, it is very fun.

For example, an activity in pairs where they can practise reading with conversations one by one and also check their comprenhension, like this:

ESL KIDS WEBSITE!

 In my first post, I am going to share with all of you, a website that contains many resources, worksheets and materials that we can use in our english sessions.

The only problem is that, if we want to access all the resources they have in this website, you have to pay to be members and have everything that this page offers us.

Although you have to pay to have access to all the resources, I seem it is a very good site, with many resources that we can use, because without having to be a member, you already have many resources available on the page and very varied.

Our students have to describe the rest of his/her classmates. This worksheet contains a description about eyes, hair lenght and color and their body.

I discovered this website in the previous activity of the subject.
